A new guide explains VA's geriatric and extended care programs as VA describes them, how a veteran gets started, and the copay rules in 38 CFR 17.111 and 17.108. Five briefing cards now link to it and match VA's program pages.

The six prosthetic-implant rating pages (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle) now state Note (1) of 38 CFR 4.71a: once a joint is rated for resurfacing or prosthetic replacement under DCs 5051-5056, no additional 4.71a rating is assigned for that joint unless the schedule directs otherwise.

Veteran counts on 48 state pages now follow VA's VetPop2023 figures for 2026. Homes in ten states list the care their agencies name. New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada and West Virginia property tax entries now follow state law. North Carolina says Fort Bragg and Virginia Fort Pickett.

The hunting and fishing entries on 49 state pages were re-read against each state's fish and wildlife agency on October 16, 2026. They now say who qualifies, whether the license is free, reduced or exempt, and any residency rule. The free and reduced thresholds on /results follow the agency.

The Getting help block on the Arkansas and Tennessee pages now says some counties have a veterans service office and state law does not require one. South Dakota's says each county must employ a service officer, share one with another county, or contract with the state Department of Veterans Affairs.

Veterans home lines in 11 states now give each home's type and care as the state agency does. North Carolina lists four open homes, Missouri 1,238 beds and Washington four homes. Context lines in a dozen states keep only what the agencies print.

The thrombocytopenia and ITP pages covered the same 38 CFR 4.117 entry, DC 7705, "Immune thrombocytopenia." They are now one page that carries both names and explains how low platelets from other causes are handled. The old thrombocytopenia address forwards to it.

Rating pages show a rated-disability count only where VA's FY2025 Annual Benefits Report prints one for that condition. The plantar fasciitis page gives DC 5269's own levels, and the SMC-K pages list the bases 38 CFR 3.350(a) prints.

Rating pages, claims guides and blog posts now say how common a condition is only where VA's FY2025 Annual Benefits Report prints it, with the figure and its source, and otherwise describe what each rating level requires.

Fifteen more state benefits pages link the state veterans agency's own local offices. The Minnesota and Pennsylvania pages name the state financial help a county office takes applications for, and every page names its agency the way the agency does.

The median, superficial peroneal, tibial, posterior tibial and saphenous nerve neuritis and neuralgia pages, the five-digit hand ankylosis page and the flail hip page now link each related condition to the diagnostic code it is rated under.

The spinal stenosis, dislocated meniscus, hypoglossal nerve, lower radicular group, posterior tibial nerve, tibial nerve and folic acid deficiency pages now link each related condition to the diagnostic code it is rated under.

The Gulf War illness and chronic fatigue syndrome pages now set out the rating levels for DC 6354 as 38 CFR 4.88b prints them, with the note on what counts as incapacitation.

The Gulf War illness guide and the brucellosis, Campylobacter, Q fever, malaria, Salmonella, Shigella, leishmaniasis and West Nile pages now set out the long-term health effects 38 CFR 3.317(d) pairs with each disease, and the medical opinion VA requests when one is diagnosed.

Each of the 51 state benefits pages now names the state veterans agency and its phone number, says whether that state has county, city or town veterans offices of its own, and links the directory where one exists. A new page lists all 51 in one place.

Sixteen pages in the 38 CFR §4.124a neurological block were reviewed against the current schedule — Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, brain cancer, myasthenia gravis and eleven others. Each now shows the figures its own diagnostic code carries.
